LOL. I have the exact same VX-160 handheld. I had no idea you were another radio geek!

Great radio though. A little cumbersome to use (like most handhelds), but bulletproof milspec construction...

even with the all the dragging?
don't they get all scratched up on the way back to the cave?

regardless, feel free to come as you are and the dogs and ourselves would be happy to entertain you chasing birds if you make it back to the Left Coast and happen to have the mod37 along. we might even be able to bend the dress code a little on your account.

So I guess that blue jeans, a flannel shirt, and an orange vest would be a big fo-pa then too huh?

I'd have to let you judge that for yourself, but it might be faux pas for me.

I do have to say though that the picture at the end looks like it's out of an Orvis catalog. I don't see anything wrong with my outfit for bird hunting when using dogs. Now if it was for turkey, deer, or the like then I'd probably want some camo along with my blaze orange. But, ya, I'm not in to the fancy bird hunting clothes. As long as the vest has a pouch in the back and some pockets to hold shells, I'm good to go. Oh and a comfortable pair of boots/shoes.
