Having searched for paint information and not finding much here, I started googling and found this really impressive site.

They have drop down menus for any type of vehicle from anywhere in the world going back to the early 1900's. I think Land Rover, however starts in 1988. Tons of British Leyland paints. They'll mix anything you like to any formulation. Pretty amazing resource.
If nothing else, it showed me all the wonderful colors cars used to be available in, instead of the disgusting "white/silver/maroon/black" we have today. Those British Leyland colors from the late 70's are fantastic.
Now I can paint my D2 sandglow! :rofl:
