I'm looking for the OEM or pattern hardware (brackets, tray etc) to mount a winch to the front of my '01 RR (I have the stock bull bar mounted). Not easy to find. Would also be interested in prints if anyone has drawn any up.

I have tried all the obvious sources including e-bay, but as yet no luck.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Rob.

'01 RR - 100,000

anyone considered doing a front bumper with winch? RoverTym just built me one, it is awesome, and I have a 12k MileMarker winch in it which was only $580 for the winch, and I've used it... it works great, and the bumper looks great too

Milemarker - works great !
Not mine ( won it at RR6 raffel) and it is several years old now and very slow and sounds horrible, it works but you get what you pay for.

I do have a spare factory winch mount, but the PO welded into a very heavy tube front bumper, pictures somewhere athttp://conalmack.spaces.live.com/

KyleT, did you get my PM?

I used my new milemarker 12k to pull out a 4 runner and it worked great... But it's also my first winch, and is still new... we'll see how it hold up..... $580 is much better than $1600

How much was your rovertym bumper?

$1,150 for the bumper with the full brush bar....... then $225 for the skid plate.... I had just the bumper for a while which looked great, but I really wanted the skidplate so I got that coming now too, they're building rocksliders for me too!! Just tell RoverTym what you want and they can do it! They're awesome!:D
