"1993 Land Rover - Range Rover "Safari" LWB. This is a fully loaded, top of the line Rover with roof rack, brush guards etc. There is nothing this Rover doesn't have. It has approx. 148K/mi. This Rover is in excellent condition for it's age. It has great newer tires with tons of tread left. Also full brake replacement done over the summer. Replaced a/c compressor and upgraded a/c system, so it blows COLD! Mostly highway miles and it runs GREAT! This is a must see vehicle for anyone who loves the old Rovers, or just wants a nice daily driver.
Price is $6,500 but is negotiable for good cash buyer. "

This is what the ad says. I think it is a bit pricey but the other pics show it pretty clean. What to look for? What to expect price wise?

Rust, rust, and more rust. Look under the carpet in the footwells, look at the upper tailgate.

Ok. Will look for rust in all the usual places including doors, quarter panels, footwells and tailgate.

This truly baffles me. I can't $1350.00 out of a 94 DI that needs an engine. It hasn't been cut or abused and has practically brand new tires and a 2" ome lift. All the Range Rovers seem to go for a better price but I cannot figure out why. After all there are more of them and they don't have the cool hump in the roof.

Ha Ha. My wife can't believe I am looking for another LR/RR, that is until she gets off road. Thanks for the input. That is the CL ad. Your right, we love the hump. That is until pulled in the garage with the moon roof open and upon backing out...well, we don't use the moonroofs anymore.

You still have that thing? Wow - figured it would be gone long ago.

I found out the truck was originally from Dallas. Anyone recognize it? I agree, the price is too high. Since it is close by I am going to look at it today at lunch.

I am not an expert, but you certainly do not see nearly as many RRC on the road in CO.

Looks very clean, in and out. No rust, typical valve gasket oil leak, everything works except turn signals and cruise.

RangeRovers.net lists peak US production at aprox 4,800 Range Rovers a year.

LRFAQ.org has total build numbers for all markets. There were about 15,000 Classics built in 1994 and 54,000 Discos.

I did. See comments above. Clean, looks like original paint, in good shape, no dents or dings, no rust that I could see. Drove decent. Turn signals and cruise did not work. Four low worked fine. Inside above average to excellent. A little oil seepage from valve cover gaskets. Pretty much original.
