Finally got it all put together. I have to back down the air pressure but other than that it feels good to have it done.

Will i have to flip the tire carrier?

I used to have a 2" heavy duty OME and 235/85s on a DI. I ran 45 psi in the front and somewhere above 50 in the rear. I did not flip the tire carrier???huh?

Shouldn't have to flip the carrier for a 235/85R16, but anything taller than that size of tire, flipping the carrier would make it easier to put the spare on the back door.

Naaaa.... I don't do enough serious trail riding to justify the extra lift/expense. The OME HD will suit my needs pretty well I reckon.

In the Disco2 you'll need to flip the carrier, but first try to loosen the bumper bolts and drop it as low as it'll go. When you flip the carrier you'll also need to redrill the centre hole on either side of the carrier and either clearance for the wiper or move the wiper arm by 1 spline for clearance.

will 235/85/16 fit on a stock height DII?
Youll need to fit a bullbar or cut the standard bumper bar back. It'll look a bit silly with no lift. Most people here fit 265/75-16 which is very close to being the same diameter but has a broader treadface. The 265's will fit 16x7 and 16x8 rims
