Thomas if you want to find all of us, just follow the book to the steelbender trail head and after you cross that intersection with the island hang a right into the condo complex. You can't miss it, you'll see a bunch of discos. Or meet up at the City Market at 9:00 AM. I'm sure we'll be there in the morning before we hit the trail.

You guys are killing me with the mid-week travel! I am thinking I can run down on the evening of the 9th or very early on the 10th. Elephant Hill, Lockhart, Chicken Corners, etc are all easy trails, but there are some tremendous hiking opportunities. Camping in the area is as good as it gets in Moab.

Is anyone planning on staying over the weekend? I would like to stay at least until Saturday or Sunday. If Sunday then a condo at the golf course is the way to go.

Dan, I'll be at the pipeline this weekend with my Suzuki Samurai. I'm actually shipping my 35's out to Marc on friday morning so I can't bring the rover. Also 3 weeks is cutting it a little close to be breaking things.

Hmmm, ship the zuk out.

We'll see how it does this weekend. This will be kind of a trial run for that thing. I just solved a couple of engine problems and put some high and low transfer case gear reduction in it. It's probably a little late to start looking into shipping it out but I bet I could fit all my tires in it somehow. I could have killed two birds with one stone.

I've got to spend a weekend at Pendys still in Oct. working on the 109 ... if we get a reasonable amount of progress made I can come out and play ... I'd love a piece of floor to crash on.

I'd plan on heading out Sunday - get there late Sunday and head back Friday. Have Monday thru Thurs to wheel.

Thanks! A few years ago I was thinking about skydiving, but having a 9 month old when I was out in Moab made me pass. I was shopping for pottery for my wife.

Regarding the parlor in Moab, I recommend taking a pass on that place. I'm not that happy with mine. There is a spot where the spacing is off a little. The guy there was definitely lacking in his skills. Also, there are other guys out there that are artists that can draw something up on the spot. I'm not sure of your intentions, but if you aren't satisfied with Appleton, come down to Oak Park, IL. Spider is a quality tattoo artist.

As for the Moab trip........I'm going to have to pass now. Too many family issues going on right now to do it. Thought maybe I would do a couple of days, but if I go I want to be able to do it right and a couple of days just would not be right. So I'm going to wait.

Ok everybody here's how it stands right now. I booked a condo for me, Marc, and Brian. Marc's dad is going to be staying in our unit also so I'm sorry but there is no room left. It is up to everyone else to make arrangements for themselves. So Eric and Thom, if you guys want to stay at the condos then you guys better get to it. Otherwise you'll be staying at the Big Horn.

I don't mean to sound too much like a dick but I can't be certain of everybody's commitment. Marc and I have both seen a ton of flakers in the past and I can't afford to get burned. I think we already provided the contact info to the condo but if you need it post up and I'll get it out.
