I know there are a bunch of you out there from the Northern Virginia area. I stumbled upon a Meetup Group for Rover Enthusiasts that had never actually meet before. My buddy and I are trying to get the group active again and meetup every so often, eventually arrange trail rides, camping trips, trail cleanups... all that stuff. We're going to start having tech sessions/bbq's etc on a regular basis after it gets warmer at various places around the DC metro area. RoverLand4x4 in Alexandria and MuddyOval.com are teaming up... You'll see more info as summer gets closer.

I talked to RoverLand today- they are cool with it. they close at 1PM on saturdays, so maybe one saturday soon we'll meet there in the afternoon.

Please keep me posted too. While I'm a little ways from Alexandria, I'm not that far! I've been looking to do a little of roading.

Who has the G4 i see on the GW Parkway once or twice a week? I have one too.

I know we are planning a big grand opening thing at Roverland in early May. We'll BBQ some dead animals (you SW VA guys bring your possums and roadkill) and stuff like that.

We may do something before then, I've been too busy to organize it though.

I won't let anyone know I have a place in West Virgina then. The folks from SW VA are too rich for my blood. Since I'm originally froom the Ozark foot hills you all are east coasters anyway. :D
