Mine is in great shape. I've probably taken a few thousand pics with it, but it's been treated gently. I purchased a D600, so I no longer need the lens. This is a excellent lens if you don't want to change lenses and be able to deal with most situations quickly. I hardly ever used a different lens on my D200 when I had it.
