yeah i dont know bout that risk taking deal, a buddy of mine got pulled over like three times by the same cop, and he was trying to yank his hi lift off the front bumper, telling him it wasnt safely mounted.

Grey area.
There's no law against beadlocks, however, no beadlock manufacturer pays for DOT certification.
They're not illegal, just not DOT certified.
Same issue with motocycles. Do you think Jesse James' wheels go through DOT certification every time he makes a new one-off custom design?
That doesn't make them illegal.

BTW, sweet meats, a friend runs them on his Jeep and loves them.
Nothing like Thornturds.
Great in rocks, decent in mud.

They are very much like them in mud. The clog right up just like the turds. I have several friends who have them on various trucks and jeeps. They are better in rocks though, that's why I mentioned the softer part.

I think these will be awesome in mud! I looked at Kalix's up close yesterday and the lug spacing is huge!
