Okay, I have done a search and read and re-read the Tech article on installing heated seat elements. I need to replace the existing element that has quit working. Now the tech article says "remove the rear seat clip." HOW? That is, without breaking it? I know I'm dense, but throw me a bone. I have spent the last hour trying to do so, but so far I have only been able to get the side one off. And that was only because I could compress the whole side of the seat, to create enough slack. Is there a special tool or technique that I'm missing? This is getting on my nerves because I have the new element just sitting here and I really want to get it installed without F&^%ing up the seat cover.:banghead:

The way I was able to do it was to cut the hog rings on the rear most part of the bottom of the seat (ass area) then from the back reach up under the seat and slowly work from one end of the clip to the other end, still a pain in the ass! On the other seat back i learned it was much easier to just roll the heat pad up and then unroll it while pushing it up inside the seat back, that way I never had to undo the rear seat clip, just the sides and front bottom. all-n-all its a pain in cold weather.
