DOnt be a pussy keep them both. Nothing special about them noisey and uncomfortable. Why cant you have both? your wife bitching at you or something?

Okay so I really got out and drove the D90 around tonight and fucking hell, I am keeping it. I'll get a divorce before I sell this truck. I might even cut off a nut for this thing. It's just pure Land Rover, no extra crap. It is exactly how I like vehicles. Fuck the poser factor, if it looked like a turd, but was still built the same I'd still drive it.

Mmmhmmm...... told you in the other thread. But hey if you change your mind I will more than happily take it off your hands on my way to Austin. :D

If Fort Worth is anywhere near San Antonio I want a ride in the d90 while I'm stuck in TX for 2 months for school.

If you consider 4.5 hours north, a "bit"

Shut your pie hole! You know I have to drive 3 damn hours for decent wheeling, so I guess 4.5 is just a bit to me!:p

It's very nice to have good wheeling <45 mins from home. If/when you come down we'll take out my new ride. I took CvC for a ride in it last night. He was such a good friend and offered to take it off my hands for me.

Yeah I was feeling the RRC love but not enough to do something retarded like get rid of a D90 if I had to dump one.

I have first dibs on that GDE if you decide to sell it.

Oh we are taking it out, and I will be there in three weeks. He is such a nice friend, but I am too as I would pass on flying back home to take it off your hands as well and drive home!

Ok so maybe 4.5 hours is a little far, sucks half the summer wasted for wheeling. Stupid army schools. Oh well at least I'll get to see the Alamo and get drunk at Sea World.

I finally stopped driving it enough to clean it and wax it lightly. Here are some pics. It's a great ride. The 1st to 2nd syncro isn't really an issue on this thing like the PO said. If you aren't racing the thing waiting a sec for the gears to line up isn't a problem. Really I can't find anything else wrong with the truck. Rust is very, very minimal. No floorboard issues or anywhere near it. Frame appears to be rock solid and even the rear crossmember looks original, but rust is very minimal surface and frankly isn't even worth addressing. Runs strong and I have already had a boat load of people make comments about it. Anyway, enough BS...here are some pics.

It's only an hour or so up to Austin from the north side of S.A. Come up and visit us sometime.

I'd be more than happy to come up and visit as long as you don't stone me for driving the saab lol. The mileage the army pays wouldn't cover driving the rover down so the gas miser it is. If you guys are going wheeling though and have a spare seat. I'd be happy to come along. After all it's that or looking at porn on the internet.
