Need Advice

[Alabama Rover]

My alternator (1998 D1) took a crap on me Saturday Night while I was driving home (last three miles were spent turning lights on and off and lurching forward, but I made it). Anyway I need a new alternator. Any suggestions on where to get one that will not cost me an arm and a leg would be greatly appreciated.

I got one from Atlantic British few years back. Do a search and stay away form Auto Zone. Heared they are crap. Life time warrenty is no fucking good being stuck on the side of the highway/trail.
