I did my homework and asked alot of questions on this board before finaly up grading from stock information system (idiot lights and oem temp gauge that never went above half)to AutoMeter Gauges
i used electric as i wanted reliability from capilary tubing wich could crack and leak.
the temp gauge was easy.
sender went into same hole in manifold near thermostat as original.
it was same thread and everything.just had to run the sender signal wire and ground .(as close to possible as sender.)
i picked up a hot lead from the fuse box.
