Ok guys, here is my last little project. I built it for short trips around the neighborhood.
It's built from a Workman cruiser does a little over 30mph and gets 150mpg.

Okay...I'm in. Where and how much?:D

But seriously, that is just awesome! And it looks much easier to maintain than my Buells and Rovers. I finally got my trucks to stop pissing shit everywhere, only to blow either a crank or sprocket shaft seal on my S1W. It was pissing primary fluid everywhere on my way to work. The wife had to hitch the trail to the Rover and tow it home for me:banghead:

A basic single speed could be built for under $800. $309 for the bike, $300 for the tank, and $125 for the engine.
I spent a lot more and did a jack drive to a freewheeling tandem crank then finished everything of with a continuously variable planetary rear hub. To shift i just let off the gas so the freewheel engauges, then I can shift. I only need to touch the clutch to start and stop.

That's where he puts his dignity when riding it. :D Just kidding, that's cool I want one.

I built it because I didn't want to be seen on a moped, but I can live with a early motorcyle style.
Now if I can just finish the series and find a early Norton to restore.

Nice lil board track racer, that almost even looks like a trexel seat. Is the front light run by a generator hub?

Ive got a couple of those as well. Although not quite as cool. They are just beach cruisers with 80cc motors in them. They are way fun! I actually am trying to get rid of them though, I need money.
