What the hell is up with this crap? This is the 2nd time in 2 months that I've been tricked to waste my time at a "dinner party" for...1st time Mona Vie and tonight for B Skinny Coffee. I'm actually pretty fricking pissed off about this. What a bunch of shit. What actually attracts people to this junk? The worst part is that a buddy of mine lied to me about the B Skinny "dinner party". What the fuck?

Does it take a certain kind of bull shit slime ball with no life to sign up for this garbage? I actually made a bunch of jokes tonight about "drinking the coolaid" and they weren't very happy about that.

I'm about to send an email to my buddy about what a bunch of crap this whole thing is.

Thoughts?

I tried a MLM company once in college. Made about $1000 and quit. Hated it, will
never do it again. The one I did sold pre-paid legal plans, and they cheated me out of a $1k bonus and some other sketch stuff. No thanks.

My wife and I have been working a MLM business in the past. It's like any other business, the more time you put towards it, the more opportunity you have to grow it. We haven't banked out on it, maybe made about $8k from it over the past 2-3 years. But we've been off and on with it. The people we started with are now making about $15k - $20k a month and have paid off their debt. Of course they have 5 kids and spend most of their time trying to either take care of the kids or are neck deep with expanding their own business within the company.

Again, it is what it is and how much time you put towards it. Just like any other small business.

MLM is a great money-making concept. The only problem is that to be really successful at it, you have to be a complete loser and push your crap on all your friends, family, neighbors, complete strangers, etc. until they get tired of just laughing behind your back and they finally tell you to fuck off. I had a buddy who tried to get me into an Amway presentation. I told the loser to fuck off.

MLM's are the minor leagues of Ponzi schemes and other confidence scams.

MLM's aren't in the same ballpark as Ponzi's. Hell, it ain't even the same sport. I can respect a Ponzi scheme.

You can make a fortune in multi-level marketing. I don't know what the hell you are all on about. It's a booming industry, and there is plenty of money out there for you.

I've considered starting one of those schemes myself!:D

That's where the money is, after all. You get it from the idiots that buy into the program. Why not have your own idiots?

Cheers,
