Nice stove! I was looking at a primus as well..

Being the coffee addict I am, this thing blows my mind http://store.primuscamping.com/camp-kitchen/coffee-makers/brewfire-coffee-brewer/ - maybe a little pricey but that thing is AWESOME

I've been using primus stuff for years, good product. I'm the type that finds a manufacturer that makes a good product and sticks with it, black diamond head lights, primus cookware, snap on tools, etc. I'm stuck in my ways from hiking/climbing, so i still look for lightweight packable shit, but now 'car camping' gives some wiggle room. alps mountaineering is my new favorite. one of the big wigs at kelty broke away and started alps mountaineering with the belief you can make decent equipment on a budget price. its not super light stuff, but its packable and budget orientated. i have a bunch of their stuff and it holds up fine. i know its not walmart, same club, or walmart, its also not snow peak, bibler tents, or MSR anything, but it is economical and packs down pretty small.

jake, if you are serious about coffee, just get one of those starbucks via mugs and a bunch of packets. get a jet boil and your set. i keep a jet boil in my primus collapsible cookware sack. the starbucks via packets are strong, make a quick turd, and don't require that expensive coffee maker!

Yea there's no way I'd actually buy that maker. I have an camping press I think it's GSI Outdoors it's nice but doesn't make enough for a small group. I do have a pretty big kettle though and Starbucks Via is a good idea.

Here you go - the most "engineered" fold-down table at the rear door of the Disco I've ever seen:

I wanted to build one (less fancy and more rattle-prone version), but I keep a full jerrycan in the rear, so I'm on the fence with it.

Speaking of folding tables - I believe I have the same table as the one in Chapman's Pelican case (not chopped to length, though), bought it from REI before a trip to UT -

I don't know how long will the plastic clips last, but it is a decent piece of work.

Mine doesn't rattle - I made a "latch" out of 2 metal tie-down loops and a velcro strap!

Is that Ben Little's? Yeah, that's a nice shelf no doubt. Just don't wanna sink that kind of money and time into a shelf in a truck.

Well... maybe Ben sells the bill of materials and dimensions as a kit!

Nah... I wouldn't sell it but I'll rattle off what I can remember with rough prices.

1 sheet of kitchen grade stainless (16g I believe) $125
12 feet of 1/4in auto trim $10
4 stainless steel 90 degree 10mm marine strut mounts $25
2 12-12.5' gas struts with 20lbs or less pressure $50
1 sheet of 3/4" kitchen grade SHDPP cutting board $75
15-20 stainless steel button head screws $5
Rivets $5
Rivnuts $15
Bottle opener $10
Knife magnet $20
Stainless garbage hook $3
2 1/4-20 threaded inserts $2
2 1/4-20 screw knobs $8
36" length stainless steel piano hinge $30
1/4-20 stainless threaded rod for knobs $10

Rough Total: $393

This was my second table and I believe it took about 10-12 hours to build.

Cutting boards would make a good divider, not the wood ones but those hard plastic kind.

We have always used one of those inexpensive Wal-mart totes, one for cooking supplies, the other for food.

One of those fold out tables fits nicely in the back stood up on its side. But, all you really need is a cooler full of brews and a few gallons of water so when your Rover blows a line.

I've been wondering about those struts you used for quite some time, but never remembered to ask.

Thanks for posting this.
