Ok people! I have already done the swap in my 93 classic! I put the old ebrake on the the lt230 and that is on great.....NOW. I have no idea how to mount the classic ebrake to the lt230 to get it working properly? Can someone pleas post some pictures as I have to get this inspected and don't have the ebrake connected!!!!:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Ditch the classic ebrake and upgrade to the newer disco model, they are far superior. I did my RRC and my 110, much better and it is not difficult.
All I did was switch the cable from my '95 LWB into the '00 DII LT EBrake and workes grreat. Except I somehow broke the handle/ratchet assy and haven't been able to look at what I did wrong.
I have the DIsco II e brake cable also. It is an improvement. The BW ebrake cable is about 5' long the LT is about 2' long..

I have a D1 ebrake.... I drilled holes in my BW ebrake for no reason! I will wear my Dunce cap in pride! Switched things out less than an hour. I have an Ebrake! Thanks for my crown people!

Yep! My D1 is a 5-speed. The ebrake is just habit! I feel naked without it even on the RRC.
