Los Angeles area: Gorman / Frasier Park on Sunday the 13th

Joe Nosal and myself are heading to Frasier Park to explore on Sunday.

We are meeting in Pasadena at 9am, should be in Gorman at 10:30ish. If anyone wants to join us, please do. We will have FRS radios on channel 12.1.

I've never been any further into the Hungry Valley OHV area than the 4x4 practise area, so if anyone has any reccomendations on where to start, please let us know!

Did you guys get stuck in the traffic from the fires?

we ended up not going to Gorman. we went area 51 instead. a little close plus near a spot that Nathan flys gliders and he wanted to scout an alternate route to the glider location.

we entered from bouqet cyn and exited at rowher flats OHV.

pretty good day except for have some dash illumination now. 2001 DII with ABS/TC/HDC lights all on now. maybe a sensor? who knows.....

as for the fire, we did see it from where we had lunch at the top. looked bad, but we were pretty far with several rides between us and the fire so all we could see was the smoke
