Lifted freelanders.

I think there are quite a few people with lifted Freebies on the Muddy Oval forum. There were some at MAR last year and this year...

A lot of people are really impressed by the FL, lifted and non-lifted once they actually see it off-road. syoung had a lifted FL with snorkel, winch, etc. that you can find on freelanderliving.com. He is pretty good with the FL.

t does surprisingly well in all conditions other than real rock trails. With no low range, its just not a rock crawler. Kind of chokes a bit on uphills as well where you could use the lower umph got get up stuff. But other than those 2 points, mine wheels very nicely.

I was never intending to use the Freelander as my primary wheeler so I never looked into it to be honest, but I would imagine they may have covered that over on MuddyOval. I would do a search over there. Not sure if it was discussed here.

Why, because I like underdogs... it's alway cool to show up on a trail run with something that everyone wants to bet against and watch them eat their words.
