And some sawzall action to the front fenders!!! :applause:

OME HD springs, and some 285 Yokohama Geolanders, some highly technical sawzall action.... ;) and you are set for STREET DRIVING only!!! HAHA!!! I think I am going to need more lift or more sawzall....

I just want to know if ProComp shocks work well with 285s. I heard they are awesomely bodacious.

And also 285s fit with 4 inches and no sawzall. :p

Haha!! Procomps... :p

And sorry I don't have a camera... :( but just imagine using every last bit of wheel well room just sitting on level ground....

Ok, here are some cell phone shots. Crappy lighting (its raining today here in SLC)

You can see how much attention to detail I paid while cutting the body.... Actually this was just to get it drive-able, I will be cleaning things up so it looks pretty again :applause:

i had bfg 285/75/16 on stock 5 spokes/tornado wheels when i had my disco. it had a 3" rte coupled with a 1" rte spacer. rubbed like hell trying to simply turn out of the driveway! i dont see how you are even driving that thing.

cutting looks good though!

Well I just got back from driving from SLC to Moab :D Tires rode great the whole way (sprung a radiator leak though...)

I will say that with STOCK length Bilstein shocks and OME HD springs the tires DO fit offroad. Travel is limited a TON so they don't rub much (they DO rub on the radius arms when turning though).

I will be going RTE 5 inch springs and some steel wheels from Gulf Coast that should help with the tight fit issues

what about front and rear links driveshafts. gearing heavier axles. Seems like moving those big tires is already taking a toll on your truck.

Truck will be getting Rovertracks HD axles,,, or FZJ80 axles

And I don't think that the tires are taking a toll on it, I pulled this Range out of storage where it had been sitting for more than 3 years and the previous owner had neglected it badly before that. I have only had it running for a week (with the new motor) so this trip was its break in run.

Some people have that attitude, I don't , too bad you destroyed it because of impatience.
