I would also take the rubber seals that go around them as well. Both of mine cracked at the rally after a creek crossing, one of which was brand spankin' new. WTF??

Must be in good condition- no chips or cracks.

One of mine did that years ago. There wasn't a mark on it ... attributed it to thermal shock.

I've done my darndest to avoid dunking hot glass headlamp lenses into cold water since then.

Sorry, none here though.
