Is this really a Kalahari?

If I'm not mistaken, a Kalahari (or any other SVO DII) would have a SVO plate under the hood on the core support.

Everything except the rims and seats could be bought (through LR or companies like AB), including the little LRSV sticker/badge on the back door. Plus like I said it is missing the sliders supposedly all of them had on them, and like the guy said above the seats could have come out of a wrecked truck and the rims pop up for sale every now and again...

Treks didn't have sunroofs..

The Kalahari trucks did (or at least some of them). You can see the front sunroof in the top center picture and in one of the bottom ones. http://www.discoweb.org/kalahari/index.htm

My fault, I should have asked whether or not it was a Kalahari. The seller did not say it was one but a lot of the parts indicated it might be.

I've never seen the LRSV badges for sale. Would love to get my hands on some if they were for sale though.

It does not have the SVO plate on the radiator core support, it is almost certainly NOT a Kalahari.

The Kalahari was a North America thing. It was not a SVO. It was put together with Safari Gard. As far as I remember they had them is Gray, Yellow and white. They where a way for the dealer to sell a "trail" ready vehicle (package/options upgrade). Trek vehicles are SVO, G4's are not.

Interesting, so maybe this is a good buy if it's a limited color seeing as most that i've seen are white and yellow.

The only Kalahari (white, hood blackout, S-G sliders, Saudi grille, etc) I've seen had an SVO plate on the core support. It had been taken in on trade and I prepared the pre-owned, certified paperwork and ran the DCS on it.

But, it's the only one I've seen so it could have had something else going on.

On the one that I've seen, it was on the core support right next to the emissions plate.

PT, Was it a Kalahari? As far as I recall they are not SVO's (Kalahari's). Could it had been a Trek? The Trek's have the SVO plate in the front and SVO badge on the barn door. This was due to them being modified here in the US with Safari Gard parts, other than the Saudi Spec grill. Please correct me if I am wrong.
