Intermittent rear windows operation

1994 RRC LWB with child lock. Yesterday the rear windows would not operate although the day before they did. Fiddled with the child lock switch and then they worked. Took the switch off and cleaned the contacts. The windows didn’t work immediately yet after the second attempt did.

Question is should I replace the child lock switch? Or is it something else I need to check?

Thx in advance for your help.

1994 has a different rear window ecu than the 95/D1. They dont fail nearly as often as the D1 style, but they still do on occasion. They can be bypassed in a similar manner. Its located under the cubby in the center console.
