head removal question.....

Is it possible to remove the head on a 4.0 V8 without removing the whole intake manifold? I have all the head bolts out and the 4 intake bolts on the passenger side out but havent tried to remove the head yet...Im trying to save some time but dont want to butcher the new head gasket during reassembly

more than likely it is....good luck trying to solve the leak issue though after you go back to put it on...pull the intake..save yourself the hassle.

I'm doing the same in order to change the head gaskets, but I'm stuck. I can't remove the 8 bolts that hold the head cover to the engine. Any suggestions? I tried everything I have in the garage.
