handbrake handle

Hi!

i have got an problen with hand brake leveler. it is slack so slack that brake wire is makin an "S" where it goes tru floor into protecting casing. the handle gos "all-the -way" down until console stops it!

i looked into the console last night and could not see what to seems to be problem!

2 possibilities wire has streched or there is something wrong with the brake handle, something i could not see!

hand brake it self works fine not problem with funktion!

anybody had the same problem?

Same on my Rangie, I was planning on trying some sort of lube in tube where it goes through the floor. If I feed the cable in while letting off the brake, it goes in right. Just a thought, don't know if it'll work or not.
