Front axle bolt cover?????

I put an ARB in the front of my 98 D1........while taking off the front axle bolt cover (if that's what its called) the 5 bolts snapped off inside the rotor. They still go on but only have a few threads holding them in place. My question is why are the bolts so damn big???? I needed to get it on the road so I put it back together and its not leaking and seems ok but I thought I would see if it would hurt to leave it like it is until I can get it fixed.

I think he is talking about the splined drive flange.
I do not think I would drive it too much without good thread engagement.

There's 5 drive flange bolts, 5 hub to rotor bolts, 6 spindle bolts, and 7 swivel ball bolts. What the hell are you talking about. I wouldn't feel good about any of them being only a couple threads in.
