Flasher problems D1..............

I have a '95 D1; built a new custom rear bumper so I had to go w/ LED's in the rear. They blinked fast but was tolerable. Now the entire flasher has quit working. I went to the archives and it recommended a Tridon EP 26; EP 26 is no longer available per AutoZone. Anyone tried anything new that is available that works? TIA................

did you put a resister in line with each bulb? l.e.d.s don't have any load draw...

I used the EP26, per the instructions on the tech section (Rupp/Olivares write up) I ordered it from Napa and it took 2 days (about $19). It's the flasher from a 1999 TJ Jeep...it has 5 prongs instead of 4, and it's bigger than Disco stock, but with pigtails it was done in about 30 minutes tops...even for me, and I have 2 left hands. Rapid blinker syndrome solved!
