I purchased this as a serviceable fender, I knew the outer panel was bad, but I already have a replacement outer.
Is this what I should expect or have I been screwed out of $278?

George can be hit or miss. When I called him he had none. I know he isn't getting any II or IIa's new...

The Lou!
Damn, I think the ones RN had for $250 were in better shape than that. Please don't tell me that is one from RN. :( If that is what you get for $278 then mine worth twice that even with the bullet hole!

that's where I got it, the photos make them look nice, they didn't show the damage.

Id call Mark Letorney at RoversNorth. Hes a good man and the owner and I bet he will make it right. I feel much better now about paying 600 for a complete series body this weekend. I had some buyers remorse as the last hybrid I built only cost 550 for the entire truck. I needed series IIa front fenders for this one though, and they are a bit harder to come across. Gordo.

I had an entire body stolen out of the back of my 109 a few years ago, everything but the windscreen frame and breakfast.

After my last experience with RN, I said I would never buy anything from them again.
They had the fender and it looked good in the pics. So I gave them another chance.
My mistake, I'll just eat this one and not make the same mistake a third time.

It was $178 plus $100 for shipping.

It's a NAS station wagon.
I didn't take a photo last time I rolled it out, but here is a photo of what it looked like when I got it.

Call Mark, He cant fix it if he isnt aware of the issue. More than likely your going to want to buy some stuff from them again in the future. Plus if he isnt aware of this issue, it could happen again to another Rover guy, so help us all out and call him and work it out. Gordo
