-but then again I liked my regular (Gen 3, the horror) G19 grip with the bicycle innertube upgrade so I'm obviously low class.
I don't get the horror comment. Many a people like that gun. Or is that why?
When looking at many of these expensive pistols I'm reminded of these wise words written many years ago by our fellow ass-hole in arms, Kyle..
I am enjoying my 80% lower G19, the grip is rather nice-but then again I liked my regular (Gen 3, the horror) G19 grip with the bicycle innertube upgrade so I'm obviously low class.
I also realize that saying that my glock works just fine is totally not a sexy/unique option.
If you like it, that's all that matters. Nothing wrong with a Glock. This is more about what you're enjoying right now than it is about the coolest, most unique firearm.

What I want to build next is an AR pistol that takes glock mags...just to see if it is a fun as it looks like it would be. More a time on hand issue than resources at the moment though.
I've got a Kel-Tec SUB-2000 that takes Glock mags, but it's certainly no AR.
Something like that might give you an idea of what it's like to use something rather like a sub-gun without auto capabilities. I personally find it a little pointless beyond carrying cheaper ammunition for a little plinking in a field. A carbine makes a touch more sense than a semi-auto sub, though.
The AR might be entertaining, at the very least.
I'll sell the SUB-2000 below market, though, if you want to give it a shot. It's not doing me much good over here.
Cheers,
Kennith
Favorite has to be HK P7M8 or M13. But I've really been enjoying 1911s lately.
