Is anyone using one of these? im looking for some ideas or opionions on how well they work and how easy it is to use one. for an 02 P38. single vehicle use doesnt bother me, at least not yet :D
all the info on the black box website is pretty good but man is there a lot of it to wade through and digest.
how is the forum support? is it mostly other owners talking about what they did to resolve issues and how the faultmate or rovacom helped or is it mostly just computer type tech support or IT support type of stuff?
how is shipping to get one here to the states? does it take a while to get it?
seems like it would be a good long term investment. espcially if you had say, eas faults, abs faults, HVAC faults all at the same time. plus who knows what else.

We use storey wilsons eas reset tool for rrc and p38. Free software
And buy or make the connector. Of course this in no way answers your question

ps- PT is a spring loving luddite ;)

EAS only.
Read the faults, reset the faults.
Display and change the height settings.
Activate all the valves individually.
Dump the tank & springs.

If you understand how the EAS system works, and MANY people do not, Storey's tool can be VERY helpful.
If you don't understand the EAS, or you think having to replace rubber bladders every few years is evidence of bad design, you should probably put coil springs on it.
Oh, yeah. Don't forget, you'll need to spend $100 on the magic box to make the EAS warning message go away after you convert to coils. :smilelol:

ahhhh that'll buff right out.
first stop was the car wash, before it was even off the trailer. that made a big difference. there are a couple scratches but nothing unusual for a seven yr old vehicle. every thing else will clean up nicely with a good detail job.
