I have a large amount of fasteners for sale. Mostly grade 8, but also grade 5, grade 2, and stainless. Approximately 5,000 LBS at the moment. I'm selling these at 1/2 wholesale price, no minimums (within reason).

I'll post a full inventory when I have it. In the mean time, if anyone is interested in anything, drop me an email. I can also put together assortments to match what fastenal, mcmaster, an any internet retailer sells, and beat their prices by 50% or more.

No, I have more than that. the 5,000lbs is what's going up for sale. I'll be keeping quite a bit.

I bought out a small industrial supply's company's inventory that went belly up.

I'm guessing with your projects and the retail price of fasteners that was a pretty good move. I probably spent $1K or more on hardware for my old rangie over the course of it's life.

I'll check to see what sizes I'm going to need a lot of and shoot you an email. Might be a week or so but if you still have a bunch we might be able to work something out. Hopefully shipping won't kill it.

I don't think there's enough metric to warrant much interest. less than 5 boxes from what I saw, and I'll probably be keeping that.

tons of inch grade 8 stuff from 1/4 to 1-1/4 in fine and coarse though

I may be interested in some stainless.

EDIT: More specifically, 1/2-13, 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 button heads and socket heads.

Grade 8 only.

Anything from 1/4 inch and up to 3/4 inch.

Both coarse and fine thread.

Stainless Steel - anything smaller like 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2.
Any screws/specialty stainless like allen head, square drive etc?

And yes - flat rate boxes rule for this. I once bought a full bolt/nut/screw assortment from an Audi A4 that was parted. Every single bolt/nut/screw/fastener on the car. Came in two large flat rate boxes and the guy behind the Post Office counter laughed so hard when he brought them out to me with a hand truck. LOL.

Working very hard on this. sorted 4000 lbs so far..

here are a couple of pics of my garage. total insanity. I still have about half the back seat (with the seat folded down, stacked to the ceiling) of my crew cab to bring in, also...

first pic: stuff I've unloaded from the trucks (yes, two truckloads) that I have yet to sort through). sorry about the crappy pic--I backed myself into a corner and raised the cam above my head to get this shot.

second pic: some stuff sorted

third pic: grade 5 stuff under the press, grade 8 bolts in the rack and next to it, grade 8 nuts, washers, and lockwashers on the right side of the "aisle"

fourth pic: general mayhem of my sorting area.

So far I haven't seen much stainless. I have one box with SS stuff, and its mostly small HHCS and washers.

want to come over and help?

That's pretty cool you were able to get their whole inventory. I might be interested in a few things sooner rather than later. I'll be sure to let you know once I have it figured out what I need.
