Extending ABS wires

just cut and splice in an extension, or worth the $$$ to buy a kit? Looks like just two wires, why not make them myself?

You might check that the kit will even work for your vehicle. Some D2 had the sensors replaced with versions that splice in at the SLABS computer, no connectors at all.

Talking about the rears? If you have the connectors at the frame, just buy some "fronts" off of eBay and your good to go.

Mine has the connectors at the frame, and I pulled the ones off of a part truck I had recently. Just wondering how sensitive the system is to tiny electrical fluctuations caused by me hacking it together. With MAR and Uwharrie both coming up I need to get it sorted.

Good timing on this post. My plan for today was to see if I can reroute the existing lines instead of extending them.

I was able to cut a few zip ties and get enough slack for the rears. I started the front and initially it doesnt seem like Im going to be able to get as much slack as the rears..

I just installed +4" brake lines and ideally would like the abs lines to match the length of the brake lines.

I would cut and splice in new wires and eliminate the connector. The connectors are very poor quality and can lead to the three amigos. If you get a wheel speed sensor from Land Rover it comes without the connector in the wheel well and gets plugged in directly to the SLABS computer.
