BTW, when that woman dies, you think we could use her lips for pelican case handles?

If she was spotting me, and I scratched my truck, I think I would have reacted quite differently. I would have clued her in to the "trail rules". You know the one, "tag my truck and I tag you".

Thanks for posting the link I never get to watch grown up TV any more.. It's all cartoons and kid crap.. I am learning some spanish though, thanks to Diego and Dora...

I know that's pretty sad but, oh well, just the way it goes.

I thought it was a good show. Everyone was well represented, and it cast a good light on off pavement driving in a time when people are turning against such activities.

I really think you guys are making a difference with the publicity you generate.

Bravo, EE. Keep it up.

Cheers,

Was annyone else waiting for her to turn the wheel to far to the passenger side when she was going down the burm? I thought she was going to turn that thing sideways for a second.

Good segment.

I agree Jack, you guys showed more ofrroading in a single segment than most "truck shows" air in an entire season. Great to see a $75,000 truck doing far more than running through a staged puddle. And it definitely beats watching a sub install with 22" wheels and "queer street chrome offroad accesories".

I like the tread lightly reference thoughout the segment. You guys do it right. From truck setups, proper equipment and usage, and the trail menu was pretty nice as well. Keep it up.:applause:

Classic line of the flick:

Her: Its OK, it's only a little scratch.

Ho: It's not OK. It's my truck.

my favorite:

"remember, the right one is gas, the left one is the brake."

Does that get David much ass? ;)

x2...the mentioning of proper recovery points was well-placed imo. i don't know if its just me thinking this, but it almost seems as if the LR group puts the greatest emphasis on having a good set of front and rear recovery points. when i read other forums (jeep, toyota etc) i rarely hear people speaking of them.

I'll bet you guys could actually put together a decent weekly show. There was some nice comedy in there. John was very funny, and Ho's persnikity comments here and there really had a good effect.:D

It really was good television, though I didn't really like the host. She did, however, provide a great counterpoint to the experience and well put together nature of the rest of the group.

I really think something could be made of that. Of course, I am biased towards the subject matter, but the personalities are defiantely big enough for television.

I told John they should consider a weekly or monthly podcast - cheap and easy to produce and they've got a built in audience:cool:

it was good, no it was great, seeing LR get the attention and recognition for what they are MEANT to do. i was interested in the fact the toyota was placed on the same plateau but we never saw one in action? and all the guys at EE did a great job. around here, there plenty of four wheeling, but its the redneck kind. we have a few lr people, but not much. it was good seeing the educated, sophisticated, and professional side to off road driving that was portayed by EE and of which most of us here attempt to practice.

True, I watch pretty much any car related, and especially offroad related show on TV, and I think that was the first time I've ever heard the term used. On forums dedicated to other types of trucks they don't get much emphasis either, I see way too many trucks out on the trail with no recovery points whatsoever, I hate to be a dick but when I see one of those guys get stuck I just tell them it's not safe to hook a kinch up to their truck so I can't help.
