Last night one of my heater hoses blew, so I stopped by Autozone to see if I couldn't find a compatible part. When I went to pull the hose off, a piece of the plastic heater valve came off with it. LR can't get the part for a day and I'm stuck at Autozone. Can I plug the outtake/intake outlet and drive the car a couple of miles w/o having to tow it? Thanks in advance

Instead of plugging it, just make a U from one of the hoses to the engine side and leave the heater core open....
