Anybody ever try these? I found the universal three wire, but I would have to cut off my old connector. Is it true that I may lose some of the sensors ability by splicing in the connector? I need to figure out why my truck only gets 12.7mpg in town completely stock.

I'd like to see somebody provide incontrovertible proof of this! I have installed countless numbers of sensors where I've spliced connectors to them with nary a problem.

That said, I have had major problems with getting the wrong sensors from a number of sources. I do not like it when folks who do not speak English as their primary language try to tell me I do not know what a Land Rover oxygen sensor looks like. With Will, you not only get great pricing and service, you get the correct part and he backs them up!

Hell, I would be happy with 12.7 in town. Odds are new O2 sens. are not going to up that much.

I thought I had problems. Is yours completely stock? I'm barely accelerating, with pissed off people on my bumper. Locally gas is almost $3.90 a gallon. I guess after a while only the hardcore guys are gonna be left driving these things.
I'm sure new sensors would help out some. It has a 186,000 and they have never been changed.

Have you checked what our trusted vendors can provide? One such that I have purchased O2 sensors from is RoverGuy, www.roverguy.com Look under "LINKS" ...

Cool thanks for the link. I haven't been interested in my Disco for some time until recently. Wife got the new car so I get this one. Plan is to make it trail ready and join in on the fun.

You're worried about near $3.90/gal gas, and you wanna "trail ready" your truck? You don't even wanna begin to think about those costs! ;)

Thanks PT I'm going to order from the above link here shortly. When I say trail ready I basically mean a mild lift, stock size tires with maybe a rear locker. For a beginner I would be happy with that for now. IF and when I became more serious mileage will fall by the wayside as the mods increase. As it is now I drive it in town more than anything. I know a few guys at work who I would follow along to learn from when the time comes.
