First Disco I had, had the one near center of vehicle rattle to pieces, did not realize it until I saw the melted carpet in the rear seat area (IIRC).

This ones right by the trans lines which is what worried me when it popped off... Two large hose clamps might be the best bet for now.

Very common. There are tons of Discos running around without them.
