Tell that to the Rolex Sea Dweller on my wrist why don't ya!

Breitling and Omega use ETA movement, while Rolex uses their own in house built movements. Sorry, Omega and Breitling aren't in the same league bro :patriot:

Actually, Rolex, Cellini, and Tudor use IWC some movements....

I didn't even post pics of my Rolex when it had a velcro band and safety wire for pins!

My uncle has a Rolex that still works... he bought it in 1962, wears it every day, usually has a velcro strap. He sends it to Rolex every few years to get it refurbished, they do it for free.

(If you think about it, he's probably spent less on his watches than I have, and right now I'm wearing a $16 digital piece ...of crap.)

He also had a very high mileage 4.6 Range Rover serviced at LRPDX -- he was the original owner, and when he sold it, it had nearly 400k on it. It was a white one, he drove it back and forth from Pendleton 2 or 3 times a week.

This thread is like an old dog turd, dried up and turning white around the edges. Why would you dig it up?
