A friend of mine caught this one in Saint Louis, heading through North County.

26's.......and a shitload of ground clearance.

The Lou!
rofl There is a green metallic one on the south side near me. I usually don't admire such automotive endeavors, however, this green one is really sharp and well done for the style. Not too many here in The Lou, but in Tampa there are hundreds of cars all jacked up like that. :puke:

Once saw a Camaro on a Blazer chassis. Also a Vega. Both on trails in Colorado. The only thing they were missing were those 19th century wagon wheels.

Yes, those big wheels remind me of covered wagons. Just waiting for the wood-toned ones

I was behind a guy with 22s on his caprice. He was trying to manuver in a parking lot. Took a three point turn to make a u-turn, two tries to make a sharp right, and another two tries to turn into a parking space.

My friend photoshopped an escalade or denali on old wooden wagon wheels. It was on Worth1000 for a while, I'll have to see if I can find it.

You know, it seems to me that these guys should start doing portal axle conversions.
But, they could run them upside down so they could still fit the 24"s and 26"s and sit a little lower to the ground.
That just looks retarded.

When did the bangers start driving *lifted* vehicles anyway?

Hmmmm...if the bangers are driving lifted vehicles, now I'll have to turn the Disco into a low rider so I'm not mistaken for a banger. It would be easier if I had a Range Rover, then I could just deflate the air bags.

very common around here, especially south of I30 in the hood

Its funny how some of the things translate over from 4 wheeling to donk building. I've talked to a few of "those people" and many of them have had to swap in different axle assemblies after snapping 10 bolt shafts, and getting steering and suspension geometry correct takes some money and skill.
