Peter...

That's some serious old school with the recurve. I don't think I've ever gone bird hunting with a bow. Sounds like a blast :D

Peter that one dude in the Filson holding the bird looks like a young John Daly!
Thats my cousin, never really thought about that!
We had 2 awsome days. The second day was the best as we were in the feild with dogs. Man let me tell you shooting Chukker with a bow is really hard......Hard enough with a gun yet we managed 2 birds>:victory:
One big plus is your ears don't ring!!!!

That looks expensive.
How so??
Most of the bows we use were made by my cousin. About 150$ The expesive part was buying the birds for the tower shoot. We get them for 5$ / bird.
jimjet Mr Sherman took a Coyote with a recurve

That's the most flu flu's I've ever seen in one picture. I prefer a 12 Ga. but the old school way is pretty cool. I have a tough enough time hitting a deer or turkey with my bow and they are usually standing still. Aim small miss small is what they say, good job guys. Nice to see a Rover being used the way it was intended, just like my Labs.
