d2 tranny slow to move

Its just simply not low nor has it been low in my ownership.

I wasn't aware that there was an uprated trans controller.

Come to think of it the 99 d2 I had for awhile had the same problem (slow to move move when cold)

I had this same problem with my old 3 series bmw, and it did it for years and never stopped when i sold it. Up to this day it is still on the road and the tranny is fine.

What a mech guy told me was that he believed the torque converter of itself was on its way out. Not sure if this can happen and not be a sign of the transmission going as well. But it is some food for thought.

pansy. i have been -50 with mine and normal castrol dex/merc and it maybe took a second longer to move in reverse than normal... and I really didnt let it warm up a whole lot before rolling out of the neighborhood.
