Hi, and happy Easter all!

Nowdays my D2 have done 187 000 miles and its suspension is in "finals" now!

I saw fellow roverist fitted standard D1 front springs to an D2 and accived nice lift and firm ride!

before:

and after:

is there any problems with D1 springs on D2? That guy have done only few miles so too early to tell!

What OME or other do same work? I dont take my D2 that much on hard core offroading, just want as firm ride as my 110 has. Firm ride an "balansed looks" is the goal! I allso like to keep "airbag" SLS in rear!
Truck is D2 -99 TD5

all ideas, suggestion and oppinios are welcome!

cheers

D2 springs are 1" shorter in the front, for example, if you want a 3" lift you would use 3" taller springs in the rear and 2" taller springs in the front.
On a D1 you would use 3" taller springs all around.
The D1 springs will work but you need a 1" spacer in the rear assuming all the springs are the same lift.

Hi!

OK! In rear, idea was to "fiddle" a bit with SLS airbags and "adjust" the a bit higher!
Like to keep my "bags" in the rear! good when loading 2 dogs, cage and gear! :)

after done some reading with "search" seems like a lot of D2's have got OME 779 springs in front with HD dampers.

You can fiddle with the airbags a bit but then they will not have the range of motion you
would if you just added spacers to them.
