D2 Catalytic converter recycling question

Anyone have any experience with selling the original cat to a recycling center? How much ballpark should I expect to get? I have never sold any back, but mine are getting replaced next week and I just dont want to get ripped off when I cut them out and go to sell them back. Thanks.

What replacement type are you going with? I'm going to change mine out in the not-too-distant future and want to keep the stock sound and compatability.

I just bought the Davico 18098 system. It was $355 shipped to my door.

*I used the above post for the recycling of my cats. They quoted me $90 a peice and they are paying for shipping. So I am getting over half the price of the new y pipe back.

Seems like every type I run down (including this one) specs the fitment up to an 2002. Mine is an '03, is there a difference? I wouldn't be opposed to welding the cats in myself but am running into the same fitment issue. Any advice from the experts would be appreciated.

No difference. I have an 04.
