Couple questions.
Do you provide color samples? The iinterior color on my 95 RRC SWB looks more like the tactical pic in post #17 than the rrc sample is post #1. (camel tan vs. lightstone)
Happy to send out swatches to you or make the covers in a different color or type of fabric of your choosing. Our templates will obviously support virtually and material you want, and we are more than happy to build to order. We try to stock our most popular covers, but we have a constant queue and can do what you like.
How are the cover secured; velcro, ties, etc? Couldn't find any installation instructions on the site.
We use velcro straps and elastic cord to secure the covers, the quantity and location of each varies with each model. Each cover is built to securely fit each model seat, we don't do "universal" covers. For example, our defender front covers use brass grommets on the seat base covers that fit over the locating pins. At some point I hope to produce installation videos for the covers, but we're not there yet. It's very straight forward, you shouldn't have any problem figuring it out and I'll happily install them for you if you're anywhere near by and will give you my cell phone number to help talk you through it if you need. But I seriously doubt you that you will need either.
What is the "outdoor fabric" you use? Like outdoor furniture, there's good and bad.
You're right, there's good and bad. We've found a product that doesn't shrink, conforms well to the seats and is very water resistant. Since it sounds like you know fabric, you'll know that price also varies greatly. This isn't sunbrella, but it's a product that we like that keeps the price within the realm of sanity and offers good quality.
Why only 30 day warranty on material and craftsmanship (construction)? A little surprising for $300 quality covers.
You caught us! We've actually designed a proprietary thread that dissolves in 31 days. In all honesty, we set the warranty at 30 days because that's what the various shops we use to manufacture them all offer for warranty to us. That said, we stand behind our product, and one very large benefit of being a (very) small "mom and pop" operation is that we value every customer and every transaction. So if you have a problem, we'll deal with it. There's nothing untoward going on so you have no reason to be "a little surprised".
Thank you.
