D1 autobox?

hello!

How "strong" is D1 4hp22 auto gearbox? How much "abuse" does it take offroad before braking? What is common failure/weak point on these gearboxes?

They are very "strong." I "abuse" mine all the time.

Don't waste your time with filter changes, they don't need them.

I wouldn't go that far. Mine was sticking into 4th and some fresh fluid/filter took care of it.
