Anyone runnig these? Do they actually have them for sale? I know that they are listed on the web site, but there's nothing about price, availability. I plan on calling them tomorrow, but also looking for user feedback. Thanks.

I don't think they sell them any longer.

They were good, though.

Bill Davis at GBR is your only option in the states. Bill fucked all the other vendors and locked up the CV/Axle market. There was only one manufacture building these for all the companies and Bill fucked the other vendors. In other words, he has the monopoly. You have to get them from GBR......for now.

It sucks Bill is this big of a douche bag. But that's how it is.

Wow, we going down this road again?

Is it not the truth? Does it not answer his question, and his next question? Seems to me I told him everything he needs to know. You have anything to add, Ben?

Is it the truth? I dunno and I don't really care Dan. We all know who was apart of that whole thing and to me, it's their business. I have nothing against Bill or Keith and they both know that. I run Keiths axles and CV's and Bill gave me the D1 hubs and spindles to do it.

Hmmm, does not sound right to me. Those were 1400.00 back in the day. 600 sounds way too cheap for CVU. 600.00 a side, maybe. Still, I thought Rockford sold all the remaining overstock.

Post back when you have the CV/axles in hand.

yes they are and the AEU 2522's are way weaker then the RCV cv's that CVU was selling.

bottom line once you go past 33" the stock cv's fail all the time.

well then get that truck out on a trail for god sakes nothing breaks in the shop

If you only knew! He was gonna bring it back this weekend-it's been in Indy for coachwork. He gets all ready to load it on my trailer and I get a call to have a dead P38 brought up from Indy so he goes and loads it up to bring it here, gets it here, ready to run back to Indy and we get a call to head up by the Michigan border to pick up a dead Disco.

Keep in mind that Friday, I was out looking for a job as business had fallen off (finally).

I'm back to stressing about getting the work out again.

I'm hoping the truggy will be back this coming weekend so I can finish the wiring and get to working on the dashboard/instrument panel. The damned thing is gonna look like a fighter cockpit with the gauges he's bought for it!

If that's for axles and CV's, that's a damn good deal. They still have warranty?
