Cordless Impact Gun favorites?

dewalt 18v. works alright. loud and slow IMO. good for changing tires on the side of the road/trail for sure.

Got to go with what works 100% of the time the Snap On 18V... Its almost double of what the POS Chinese made ones are but it will last 3 to 4 times longer if not abused... In other words you get what you pay for... Look on eBay alot pawn shops selling like new used ones ...

I won't buy anything but Hilti. Call a rep in your area and I'm sure you won't either. I think you're a professional like me. A few extra bucks goes a long way with reliability.

this one is in my amazon cart, but its been sitting there since I picked up a bunch of Ingersol Ti air tools over the past year...yes the Ti is worth it

I am with Kennith, hitachi makes a great motor. their carry cases suck, but what the heck, its the tool, windings, chuck etc

Ive never heard a professional Mechanic complain about a Snap-On other than the price.. I do agree Hilti makes some great products for the construction trade...

Ive used the 18v Snap On quite a bit and they're great.

Personally, I have both the Milwaukee M18 1/2" Impact and the 1/4" Hex impact. The 1/2 is no joke, it puts out 450 ft/lbs of torque. These are the newer 18 volt lithium ion tools, I can't comment on the 14.4 volt that kennith linked to above.

I'm trying to buy my own 18 V on eBay... They have some serious torque... My old 12V finally craped out...
