It was good meeting you today, Jason. I wish I could have taken a look at that brand new install! I'm sure you'll love it. Take it off the trailer when you get to Bend, but don't let Andy put any dents in it! ;)
Ben, it was great to meet you too. You have a great family, and I look forward to seeing you again sometime. Maybe at the Northwest Challenge. Don't forget that John Miller owes Charley something for the "hat trick" he did.

I met with Andy tonight. Went on a ride-along with him. Had a great time. I was afraid to take the D1 off the trailer after Andy showed me his Moab scars on his d1. :)

Sorry Mongo. :) it sure is nice!

Super project - good luck. But I'm more confused than ever about what can now be imported and what can't. What about the 25 year rule? Only for complete vehicles?

What gas mileage and crusing speed do you expect to get with the 300?

it really not that hard to grasp...if you have a PHD...300 should be able to make it in, I was trying for a TD5 to make the swap easier. If your going to swap a non LR motor in a Izuzu or isn't a bad choice. The problem arises with EPA compliance and whether you live in a state with laxed emissions and they don't give a shit about OBD2...
