I'm preparing to move my coil pack to where it is accessible when I open the hood. While I'm doing this I'm planning on doing so well needed maintenance on my fuel injectors (2000 Disco 2 w/ 145k miles). Does anyone have know the torque specs off the top of their head for the intake manifold when I go to replace it? I know to start in the middle and work my way out but can't seem to find those specs unless they're called something else in the Rave manual. Thanks!

The Land Rover engineers put those coils and wires there for specific purposes. Not a good plan.

Why do the coil packs need to be so assessable?
What planned maintenance are you doing to the fuel injectors?

Turns out I had some o rings that got eaten up and it looks like one of the previous owners had random injectors replaced. As far as the coil pack it looks like the original and if or when it goes I don't want to have to disassemble the engine to fix it. Figured while I replaced the injectors put a new coil pack with new wires and plugs in to be safe. Extinct has a relocation kit that I'm trying out where they get moved above the intake.

On my D1 I can pull the coil pack without removing the intake.. it's a real PITA and sore knees and chest from laying on the engine.. but it's very possible do to without any issues.

On my 2000 without sai I could do plugs and coils without removing the intake. If you replace the coils there's no need to relocate them. They'll be new if you get Bosch original to replace with. They will likely last you much longer than the truck. Those coil packs don't go bad much at all.

Sadly, mine has the SAI in it. Went ahead and did the relocation as it was pretty hard for me to fit my hands back there anyways. Turned out good and made it more accessible for it a plug wire does go out.1000002118.jpg
