OK, I've looked through all my stuff and for the life of me, I can't seem to find anything on a code 26... what does it mean?

I don't think that's a valid code for a Lucas injection system. I suggest clearing the code and see if the code reappears and it makes sense this time.
The Lucas EMS is so primitive that there aren't many things that can cause the MIL to illuminate.

I saw you were online and was hoping you would reply. I did go ahead and clear it but haven't driven the truck since then to see if it comes back. I'm battling the infamous code 44 & 45 and once I cleared them "again" there was the 26. Oh well, I thought it might help me track down my problem.

no one could tell me what it was.
truck ran fine, i just reset the computer and was on my way.
i was having ingnition problems fwiw.

Mines a 92... I've driven the truck a couple of times now and the 44 and 45 are back but no 26 so I think it was probably just a fluke.
