Went out to the garage last night for a little "I've got to get out of the house" therapy and tried to get the winter grunge off my wheels. Was using "Simple Green" brush and hot water. Needless to say there is still some grunge on there. What do you use to get that crap off during the winter? Looking for more of a spay on type of stuff that wont take the finish off aluminum wheels that I can use in the garage (it was -6 last night so hooking up the power sprayer is out of the question).

I second BlueBoy's recommendation. I have heard very good things about Griot's stuff on the audi forum that I frequent. Luckily I haven't had to scrub my wheels that hard.

After you do get them clean though, use this stuff www.wheelwax.com to put a protective coat on them. It helps out so much, and I usually just wax my wheels every other time I wax my car and it has saved me loads of work. Everything just wipes right off the wheels without the need to scrub. It's really good stuff.
